Going Camping? You Can Still Shower!
Camping is a favorite pastime for many people including families, friends and couples alike. The excitement of getting out there and roughing it for a few days is a great way to get away from everyday life and live how you normally wouldn't for a short period of time.
But there are a couple of gripes from many when it comes to camping, one being the lack of showers. Without camping showers, it's pretty impossible to keep clean. This can be so uncomfortable for many that it keeps them from enjoying the experience of camping.
You Can Buy Camping Showers...
Purchasing camping showers is simple enough, and it takes care of the dilemma in a pinch. There are many companies out there to buy from, and many different options to choose form. However if you knew how to make your own camping shower at a fraction of the price, would it interest you?
Yes! Make Your Own Camping Shower!
With just a few materials, you can make your own camping shower that works great and is easy to bring along with you on your camping trip. It's a great way to get friends or family members to camp with you when they normally wouldn't, and the materials can be so little that you can even dispose of the camping shower when you're finished using it.
An option for making your own camping shower is to simply get a tarp to work with. Getting some easy to bend wire and making a large circle with it, connect one end of the tarp around the circle to make a shower curtain. Once that's done, use a tall plastic tubing to hold it standing up in the air so you'd be able to stand inside of the tarp while it hangs all around you.
To get the water flowing, use a part of a hose, cut to fit the length of the shower curtain from top to ground. Using a bucket full of water, put one end of the hose in the bucket, with the other end connected to the top of the shower but leaving some of it to hang towards the ground inside the shower curtain.
Simply give the hose a quick suck, and the water should be flowing! Now you have yourself a homemade camping shower that can be used over and over again, or you can come up with a simple model that is easily thrown away after use on a camping trip.
